This one is posted in the memory for those who have made impossible thing impossible in these 4yrs.

Firstly I would like to thank the society who shaped me and make me think I am what ever you thought.

Then I would like to thank those bugs who bugged throughout my degree career, who constantly irritated and played brain teasing pranks with critical situation in my life at that moment.

Then I would like to thank all those people who kept advising and demoralizing, which was never helpful, and who believed in the fact that I required some blah blah blah as I was getting out of track!

Then I would like to thank people who realized my ethnicity every now and then.

Also I would like to thank few personnel in college for my lowest ever possible performance or maybe yet to come.

I know this is wrong time to post this but I had these things running in my head time and time again. I know this is just a beginning I have lot more to experience if I have to survive in this city.

Thank you…

For me Social networking started in the mids of my 2nd year puc ( Oct’ 06).  When a friend of mine had asked my senior to get connected in then popular Orkut. Seriously I didnt know what was social networking all about. I asked my parents and friends in my hometown about Orkut, none of them knew what was it. During college vacation my brother had come to see me, then was doing his engineering helped me with creating email id and helped me get connected, to whom I am really grateful every time 🙂 But still I dint know how to login to my social networking profile, . Then the same friend informed the same senior to inform me the same about Orkut. This time my classmates in pu college helped me out with signing in. So here it started with Orkut.

Then came Facebook, which was supposed to be famous only in some cities of India, while Orkut was very popular among youth. Still I wasn’t much fond of FB because of lesser number of friends and had a thought that its for posh people. After few months of signing up I liked  FB sharing, apps, etc which attracted me, so kinda shifted happily and most of my friends started using it regularly. I have to say FB is million miles ahead of Orkut!! With this serious competition Orkut was forced for modification which was the downfall of it, I believe.

By start of 3rd sem I came across something called Twitter in mtv channel, which was meant for fans and celebrities a lot ( but now its lot more than that). It all starts with my madness to football, when I was trying to discuss about clubs, players, etc no one was interested to speak with me about it. Lately I got to registered in smstweets after 6months of joining, which I found to be the best way of talking about my interests, because whoever likes my topic mentioned will reply it there and I wont have to care for people who don’t care.  But I have to say Twitter is my freedom of speech!! Its simplicity is the best part and makes different and the best of all 🙂

Twitter became the best social networking for me because it connects people with similar likes, dislikes, fan following, news updating, more its a real time and you don’t have to accept/have in your following.

And now came Google+. Obviously its expected from Google to create a fuss about it while releasing as seen before for Google Wave which is nowhere now; with such annoying way to login which made difficult connecting people and (I believe it) had very high Internet connection requirements too. But G+ is lots more easier and has made life little easier than FB!! G+ has found a way to the spam in FB. Yeah those apps which attracted to FB turns to be irritating with countless number of notifications per day (for nothing), which lead to check my comments in friends posts to avoid spam! Avoiding those apps is the best part in G+ and also making it more real time than facebook with add ons like hangouts, sparks and photo shop has made it further more impress. Seeing this Zuckerburg had to club with Skype, for a change to his users and assure for having everything. Apart from re-sharing spam in G+, I don’t find as such disadvantage. Hope the spam will be noted and corrected soon!! Whatsoever G+ is +1 times ahead of FB!!

Final word: G+ is a revolution in social networking and will overtake FB without any doubts, newbies to social networking may find FB as the best for all spam it provides. But I find Twitter to be the best because of the real time sharing throughout the globe!! May be if G+ gets in more and more of high profile users, it may be tough competitor for Twitter. I don’t see it happening!!

Cricket is the biggest celebrated sport in India and sub-continent, fan following is so immense that it unites the nation and everyone belong to one and only religion i.e Cricket. And its a privilege to say “Cricket World Cup the biggest SPECTACLE comes home 🙂 ” I believe this world cup will remain in memory of the extreme die hard fans for long period. Now its up for the INDIAN Team – the major hosting nation, to finish the undone by winning Cricket World Cup in home and in front biggest fan base! There’s no one stopping us.

Officially, this is not the India Best XI by ICC or BCCI; its my dream XI in ODI’s and i rate these players based on their on their performance at peak of their career.

  1. Sourav Ganguly (c)
  2. Sachin Tendulkar
  3. Virender Sehwag
  4. Yuvraj Singh
  5. MS Dhoni (wk)
  6. Yusuf Pathan
  7. Robin Singh
  8. Kapil Dev (vc)
  9. Harbhajan Singh
  10. Zaheer Khan
  11. Anil Kumble
  12. Mohinder Amarnath (12th man)

Coach: John Wright or Gary Kirsten

Obviously the debatable question of this team is the opening pair and it has always been a questioning since arrival of Virender Sehwag. I don’t want to break the opening standards set by Ganguly and Tendulkar worldwide so i retain them as it is, but i believe in Gautam Gambhir and Virender Sehwag can match or even higher the level by the latter, for that purpose Sachin Tendulkar must retire earliest. And another good thing about Sehwag is his game plan which doesn’t change in whatever situation he is put in, so i put him one down. Then Yuvraj Singh the most skilled player in India but not consistently providing the same, he has produced some unbelievable, breathtaking match winning innings coming one down and two down, so he is a unpredictable match winner.

MS Dhoni, though i am not a big fan of his, i am keeping in my team because he the best wicket keeper India produced so far when batting and wicket keeping is considered together, that 148 against Pakistan, 183* against Sri Lanka and few match winning knocks in India and Pakistan was the turning point of his career to get established as regular keeper. Still he hasn’t done much outside the sub continent. So this World Cup is the platform up for him for the grabs. Yusuf Pathan and Robin Singh are definite match winner.Yusuf Pathan with his ability to clear the ropes at any stage of the innings makes him the Dabangg player in ODI’s :). Robin Singh is one of the better All rounder in India and a superb fielder, Indian Jonty Rhodes?? nah! Then Kapil Dev no doubts in him being in Dream XI, he earns it, one of the best seam bowler and the 1st thing that comes to my mind about his batting is his 175 against Zimbabwe, where India were 5 wickets down for 15 runs, if am not wrong he and Madan Lal turned up that match, raised the confidence in the Indian side, and they went on to win that match and won the ultimate glory of Cricket.

In bowling department, when it comes to spin Jumbo aka Anil Kumble and Turbinator aka Harbhajan Singh are my 1st thoughts, both have variation and the versatility. Harbhajan and Anil Kumble have suffered a lot because of poor fielding, or else they would have set the standards of Warne and Murali, both definitely deserve better fielding if we are expecting them to take crucial wickets. Last up Zaheer Khan, i like him the most for his perfect revese swinging yorkers, which makes any bowler proud 🙂 and batsman can only ask for is an inside edge 😛

Lastly about captaincy, there are 5 players who captained India. Sachin doesn’t have the privilege and proud feelings of leading the nation, he only wants the pride of playing for the nation. Kumble and Kapil are good leaders and performers, Kumble should have got the captaincy long ago, not in the retiring ages and Dhoni is not the perfect leader, he just has a good performing team and the credit of captaincy is going to him is a luck by chance, any senior player in the team i.e Yuvraj or Sehwag would have done the same as captain and last up Ganguly, i still see him as my captain, because  under his captaincy and John Wright as the coach, team India became a challenging side that it was able contest any team, anywhere in the world. Little bit mixed thoughts on whether Ganguly or Kapil for captaincy, but i stick with Sourav Ganguly.
THIS IS IT ABOUT MY DREAM XI.
